@Miraz mostly Yellowfin Bream, Flathead, Mulloway, Whiting, and squid, though being the largest salt water lake in the southern hemisphere, there’s lots of other species that visit during the warmer months.

@Miraz so far so good, have taken it out on Lake Macquarie twice now, caught a couple of fish each time, had an enjoyable day out…all that salty fresh air is very tiring, but also very relaxing 😎

@Miraz yep, figured I should use some of my retirement time better…haha

@yorrike that blows my mind so much, it'd be the equivalent of a 2ft high pile of floppy disks! haha

@wrenman good idea though, there’s a growing movement in Australia of people ditching their lawns in favour of “whatever grows” when they stop mowing it…people often throw down wildflower seeds and that sort of thing just to help it along

@vincent lovely couple of product improvements there 👏

@endonend that’s cool as, been forever since I last saw them!

  • @timapple our more troublesome Staffy has this one - www.petbarn.com.au/sporn-big... and is a lot easier to walk with than he was in this one - www.petbarn.com.au/ezydog-ex... which we now use with our other Staffy who is a bit more chilled out.

  • @timapple Harnesses are the go! We've got a couple of English Staffordshire's and you just can't walk them in a collar as they choke themselves pulling on the lead, they're just too keen!

Also, there's harnesses and then there's harnesses...we had to try a couple of different ones out with our dogs as one has a broader chest than the other, so on one of them the harness would slide up his chest no matter how it was adjusted, effectively choking him like a collar. We ended up with a different "control harness" for him that moves the pull point closer to his underarms which then stops it from riding up.

Can definitely recommend a harness over a collar for a crazy pupper!

    @desparoz lovely shot!

  • @pdxmph that's quite interesting, our health care providers were among the first to go back to face-to-face, particularly in mental health care.

  • @pdxmph my wife's employer has just implemented this as their 'back to the office' solution, it's been in place for about a month or so and seems to be working for most staff at this stage....though they're also about to shut down one of their offices, so that might throw a significant curveball at the program 🤷‍♂️

@yorrike it was, wasn’t it, quite underwhelming. I wonder if it may have been better as a big budget movie, or maybe it should’ve just stayed a comic book. 🤷‍♂️

@ChrisJWilson I would definitely subscribe to that tumblr

@danielpunkass it's a brilliant test, if they can't get that right then there's no chance for the rest of the ingredients.

That pizza of yours there, that's a good-a-lookin pizza!

@manton it’s sad and frustrating to see Apollo shelved due to such poor business practices by Reddit.

@pratik amen to that, it’s basically my only gripe against micro.blog, I’d love to be able to publish a “gallery as a post”

@canion MJ used to be our courier driver up till about 7 years ago. Do recall Tonny Jensen? He’s still local and involved in football (soccer) now as one of his kids plays for our club.

@canion the local association is reviving the name for a tilt at re-entry to the NBL. Would love to see them back in the league!
