★ News and Stuff – July edition

Ok so you’ve probably noticed a whole load of changes around here of late, and if you’re a regular reader then you’ll be familiar with some of the changes and the reasons for them.

So far the posting of music news along with my regular blogging activities seem to have been well received, and hey I’ve already posted two giveaways (yet to be won), and I still have loads of CDs and things to giveaway so make sure you stay tuned.

Shortly I’ll be launching a newsletter, it’ll be sent out either fortnightly or monthly and I’d encourage everyone to sign up for it once I have the signup form live. And why would I encourage you all to sign up to the newsletter? Well with all the bits and pieces I get in for review, some times the items are a bit too good to just give away to random people so I’d rather give them away to loyal readers, and by loyal readers I mean you guys who decide to sign up to the newsletter.

Along with the ‘premium’ giveaways, occasionally there will be subscriber only articles like special recipes, special offers from my blog advertisers, and any other bits and pieces I think you guys would be into. And don’t worry I won’t be spamming you or selling your details, and you’ll be free to unsubscribe at any stage so it’s all good.

And in other news we’ve only got about a month till our baby arrives! Eeeeeeep! Cath had another ultrasound a week or so ago and everything is looking good. Both the ultrasound tech and the doctor agree that the baby is a ‘good size’….naturally Cath is a bit apprehensive as to what ‘good size’ actually means. I’m sure everything will work out as it’s supposed to.

Last weekend was Cath’s sisters wedding. Her and her fiance, now husband, Daniel got married out on the river bank in Gloucester. It was a nice little ceremony and being the awesome brother in law that I am I photographed the proceedings for them. It was such a picturesque area to take photos that it wasn’t too hard a job, and hopefully they’ll be happy with the results when they return from their honeymoon.

So now along with the Joellen photos, the Candy & The Full Moons photos, I’ve got a whole bunch of wedding photos to work through…..crazy! Anyone would think I’m actually a professional photographer with that much work on.

This weekend Cath and I are dong her maternity photos. We’ve got some great ideas for a few different scene set ups, so hopefully it comes like we’re hoping it will. If the shoot goes to plan, and Cath approves of the photos, I’ll post a few edits here once they’re done and dusted.

Hrmmm, I think I might resurrect my photography portfolio some time soon………

Anyway, that’s about it for this months news and stuff so take it easy and once the newsletter launches go subscribe (of course I’ll give you prompts when it’s live).

Take it easy
